You just created your first website! I know it’s still a lot to learn but Wordpress is one of the easiest blogging and content management systems available and you will get used to it very quick. Maybe you read this and just wait until your name server is propagated and you can start setting up your site, that’s good because there are still some things that you have to do before you can finally go live. But before I get to this I want to tell you a bit about the everyday life of someone who makes money online.

My daily routine right now

• Get up when I wake up. This is usually around 10 or 11 in the morning. Depends when I went to bed.
• Check my email. Answer questions of some readers. (30 minutes)
• Visit my websites and check if everything is alright. Edit comments and ban spammers. (30 minutes)
• Breakfast / lunch in one. I love cooking so this takes me an hour if my girlfriend isn’t cooking.
• Two or three times a week I catch up on the latest things that happen in the niches I have websites in and also general Internet Marketing, Copywriting and SEO things. (60 minutes)
• Write 1-2 articles for my news style website (60 minutes)
• After that I always do different things. Sometimes I have a new small project I work on or I go out to the beach, shopping, whatever happens.

Sounds good? Yeah it is - now!

My daily routine a year ago

• …. Everything same as written above for the morning. I just hate to get up at fixed times……
• Breakfast / lunch in one. I love cooking so this takes me an hour if my girlfriend isn’t cooking.
• I learn more about the niches I have websites in and also general Internet Marketing, Copywriting and SEO things. (120 minutes)
• Write 4 articles for my news style website (120 minutes)
• Try to promote my sites or wrote content for new sites until around 10 - 11pm

Of course in the beginning I had to learn way more than now and this will probably the same for you if you want to succeed. The most important things in the beginning are that you get an idea about Internet Marketing, Copywriting and SEO. Learn it, study it and don’t fall for any products marketed with too much hype. They usually just sell you information that is freely available somewhere else.

There is no secret formula for success that makes you rich over night. Another important thing you should keep in mind is to focus on one project. It is way easier to create other sites after you have this one well visited site, more on that later. Let’s go back to your site and what you should do next before the official launch.
